Peach Crisp
If I can be honest, I dread the summer. I live in one of the most mild weathered places in the world and still, anything above 80 degrees makes me so uncomfortable. The sun is just not really my friend, which could be why I spent/still spend so much time inside my home baking and perfecting recipes. All that being said, just because it’s summer and I’m miserable, doesn’t mean I don’t want dessert. I actually want dessert more. Here in California, summer is stone fruit season which means PEACHES.
So we want peaches, and we want dessert, and we want to save time. Peach Pie is so delicious, but can be a daunting task. Peach Cobbler is incredible, but we have one hour, not 4. Enter, the Peach Crisp. We’re keeping it simple with just peaches, and a sweet buttery brown sugar oat topping. Let’s get to it.
